A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Who UK: I was a little bit
meh on the episode, though I do agree it had some lovely moments - the visualisation of "Starry Night" in particular. I hated the pop song at the end, partly because it was so superfluous but possibly also because it actively reminded me that Richard Curtis was the writer, which I didn't need
.
I thought
Tony Curran was fantastic, though. All the guest stars have been absolutely faultless so far this series. And it's James Corden next week, which could be good
.
Torchwood will be back. And international?
Torchwood will burst back onto the screen with a shocking and moving story with global stakes and locations that will make it feel bigger and bolder than ever
They don't actually need to go bigger than CoE. I'm fine with smaller stakes. And a completely implausible resurrection of Ianto, because I'm cheap like that.
If they resurrect Ianto, I'll watch. Otherwise, I can't trust them not to break my heart again.
*weeps*
If it's on Starz, at least we know the US broadcast won't edit for content.

It'll be a pisser, since pay for play...
Starz is (oddly) part of my standard digital package; I forget that it's extra for lots of people.
Damnit, now I have to add Starz to my cable package.
Yex. I will accept any completely implausible resurrection of Ianto. He can just be there with no explanation at all and that would be okay. I am willing to apply infinite suspension of belief for my Ianto.
However, I do not have Starz and am probably unwilling to pay for it unless there is Ianto. When he died, I was kinda ok with the series being done, because for me it kinda is done without him.
I may be slightly irrational on this matter.
Yex was obviously a typo for Yes, but I'm leaving it.
