That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Have just watched the US Doctor Who and I gotta say I have that exact bicycle Rory rides at the beginning of the episode. It's a Dutch bike by Batavus. Mine is flat black instead of gloss black and mine lacks the wicker basket on the front; otherwise it's the same.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hey cool! I used to have the exact same bike as Kermit the Frog.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm beginning to think that Eleven is the most truly ALIEN of the Doctors since, I'd say, Tom Baker (granted I didn't see enough of Six and Seven to judge them).

Nine and Ten, in their ways, both seemed to embrace humanity, even if it wasn't their species. Eleven just doesn't seem to have the time to slow down that way, though he still adores the species.

Who UK: I was a little bit meh on the episode, though I do agree it had some lovely moments - the visualisation of "Starry Night" in particular. I hated the pop song at the end, partly because it was so superfluous but possibly also because it actively reminded me that Richard Curtis was the writer, which I didn't need .

I thought Tony Curran was fantastic, though. All the guest stars have been absolutely faultless so far this series. And it's James Corden next week, which could be good .

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Torchwood will be back. And international?

Torchwood will burst back onto the screen with a shocking and moving story with global stakes and locations that will make it feel bigger and bolder than ever

They don't actually need to go bigger than CoE. I'm fine with smaller stakes. And a completely implausible resurrection of Ianto, because I'm cheap like that.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Hrmph.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

If they resurrect Ianto, I'll watch. Otherwise, I can't trust them not to break my heart again.

*weeps*

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If it's on Starz, at least we know the US broadcast won't edit for content.

It'll be a pisser, since pay for play...

Starz is (oddly) part of my standard digital package; I forget that it's extra for lots of people.
