Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm with Dana. Fiona, who is Marvin ?

I wasn't terribly engaged by these episodes. But I am very intrigued by the TARDIS shard and am hoping that Rory comes back somehow. The wedding ring still exists, so that's got to be something.

Anyone else think Ambrose looks like an older, Welsh Felicia Day?

Oh dear.

I was referring to Marvin, the Paranoid Android, who was voiced by Stephen Moore in the original Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio and tv series. Stephen Moore played the head Silurian honcho. I recognised his voice in the middle of his first sentence and missed the second half of that sentence because I was yelling "Marvin!". Lovely bit of casting .

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

UK Who: I gotta believe that Rory will return. I don't think they'd be that harsh.

Also, did everyone know that the BBC is releasing free downloadable Who computer games starting June 5? [link]

Well, they aired a trailer for the games after one of the early episodes, so, yes.

I imagine they might try and make them UK-only downloads, but I don't think that will really work.

There's an advance review of the games here:

That's not a review; she's just writing about that type of game in general. I rarely play video games, but for free I'll try it out!
