Duck, Sally Sparrow!!
"If you do, you might get an Oscar!"
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Duck, Sally Sparrow!!

"Go to the police, you stupid woman! Why does nobody ever just go to the police?"
"Life is short and you are hot."
Going Postal opens with the clacks towers in operation -- wonderful Steampunkery indeed.
I loved the first installment of Going Postal.
I wish the producers would go back and redo all the other Pratchett tv versions with the same quality and detail.
Now, I haven't yet read the book, so I can't speak to any differences, but this version was cracking from beginning to end.
::drumming fingers until I can acquire the second installment tonight.::
Who UK: Rory! Nooooooo!
(It had to be repeated).
::pats Shir's hand::
There, there, dear. It will be alright.
I hope.
Who UK: Seconding everyone else's "Rory! No!" He was really growing on me. I was pretty sad at first, but the more I think about, the more convinced I am that he must show up again later. Very intrigued by the TARDIS shard! I'm looking forward to seeing how all these strands will be pulled together for the series finale.
In Saturday's Confidential they showed them broadcasting one of the first trailers for this season and it reminded me of one scene which we haven't seen yet in the series itself: Amy and the Doctor are lying on some grass talking and the ground sort of explodes underneath them .
In retrospect that's probably going to be part of the finale...?
Edit: actually, on rewatching the whole thing, I think it might just have been a generic big bang in order to introduce the villains. OK, back to the drawing board .
