I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

wouldn't have had a bullet-proof vest or something.

That was my first thought!

I loved that they used an Apple IIe in his old office. Hah! I had that model!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Whoa. Chuck! How many HSQs and deus ex out-my-ass moments can one episode have?

Oh, I see. ALL of them.

Ha, I know! So is his mom going to be played by Lena Olin?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I liked how the mom, who it turns out has been a demon hunter spy all along is named Mary.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So is his mom going to be played by Lena Olin?

And the source of the intersect will be a giant, glowy red ball?

Art Crawl!!!

I think Lena Olin would be excellent. (Over at TWOp somebody suggested Lynda Carter - also an excellent choice.)

I'd like Lynda Carter better, mostly because Lena Olin has a lot more gravity than the show usually calls for. I could see LC married to Scott Bakula, whereas, LO? Much darker than I'd be comfortable with.

Then again, I was pretty traumatized by Romeo is Bleeding, so my mileage may vary.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was a little surprised that someone as paranoid as Papa Bartowski wouldn't have had a bullet-proof vest or something. Granted a head shot or the right kind of bullets would have made short work of that, but I would have thought he'd have at least a little protection.

I'm still holding out hope that somehow he is not really dead.

My first thought for mommy was Kate Jackson.

My first thought for mommy was Kate Jackson.

Even better...though I've seen some distracting cosmetic surgery photos of her recently.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm still holding out hope that somehow he is not really dead.

Well, there was no indication that they went back for the body, or had a funeral, so I bet the writers are at least holding the possibility open. I can't imagine why he'd fake his death right at that point, but someone could have brought him to a secret hospital and... now they're keeping his brain in a jar!

He had a trick bullet proof vest with blood in it.
