And, from what I've read, they didn't know they were cancelled when they filmed the finale, so it may wrap up exactly nothing.

HOLY FUCK THEY SWITCHED OUT OLIVIAS. I kept going, "what. WHAT? They didn't just... did they??" because talk about gusty storytelling. What an interesting setup for S3. Also: this means we get to see more of Alterna!Charlie! With his arachnids! I hadn't realized how much I missed him on this show until Kirk Acevedo showed up last week.

Poor Olivia! I knew she was switched when Bell woke up. It seemed an obvious plot point. But I was afraid Our Olivia might be killed outright on the other side. I wonder how long it will be before Other Olivia trips up.

As soon as the grenades went off, I suspected they were going to pull that, but I wasn't certain because, um, that is kind of crazy to do. Except they DID, and it is AWESOME, because this means we get to see more of the other universe!
Evil Olivia is better at pretending to be regular Olivia than regular Olivia was at pretending to be evil, so this should be fun times. Olive should be able to beam herself out of that cell on her own, shouldn't she? Using her interdimensional transport powers?

Yeah, we had it nailed immediately, but that doesn't take away from the awesomeness. It also infers that Walternate had a backup plan arranged in case things go south. Because Evil!Walter is still brilliant.

Maybe, maybe not. She doesn't have a whole lot of control over those powers, and it's unclear whether or not she needs to be at "soft" spot for them to work. Still, I do suspect she's on her own to get back.

He's leaving on a high -- he was awesome on 'Fringe," and got to be the one to hand over the mantle on the excellent new "Star Trek" franchise. You could have a lot worse exits. I wish him much joy painting and taking photographs in his retirement.

It's like the opposite of the Star Trek: TOS "Mirror, Mirror" episode. I would really like it if they already figured it out, or if Peter tweaks on it immediately next season. Unless Olive has been keeping an incredibly detailed journal, she won't last on a day-to-day level. I would really like it if they don't play the "manages to completely fol everyone" trope.

A good long stretch in that cell should do it. Some people build motorcycles in their mind, some might start focusing their powers. Then one day, Walternate opens the blinds, and there's no Olives in his drink.

I think the crack wasn't necessary at the weak spot, because Belly sacrificed his energy and beamed er energized er, transported er, powered their travel.
