Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going to take a bold step and post a snippet of the CW's season synopsis for S2 of VD:

And they’ll take their shirts off. Frequently.

Good to see the show understands this component of their appeal.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

We've been watching Legend of the Seeker on Netflix. We just started Season 2. I dunno if I can take Charisma Carpenter in this role.

Compassionately intolerant

Hold on Laga. The burning doesn't last.

She was terrible.

Not that the series is a showcase of great actors but at least I don't recogniaze most of them. A fun game: count how many different accents you can hear. Sometimes you can score two or three from the same actor.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So FlashForward was basically a placeholder tonight? An episode of oh-crap-we-have-one-episode-to-fill-before-the-finale?

Meh.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So FlashForward was basically a placeholder tonight? An episode of oh-crap-we-have-one-episode-to-fill-before-the-finale?

And, from what I've read, they didn't know they were cancelled when they filmed the finale, so it may wrap up exactly nothing.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

No "Fringe" chatter? Because that rocked!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

HOLY FUCK THEY SWITCHED OUT OLIVIAS. I kept going, "what. WHAT? They didn't just... did they??" because talk about gusty storytelling. What an interesting setup for S3. Also: this means we get to see more of Alterna!Charlie! With his arachnids! I hadn't realized how much I missed him on this show until Kirk Acevedo showed up last week.

Peter kind-of-sort-of-almost forgave Walter! And how wretched must it be for Peter to feel betrayed by both fathers. But he knows that one does love him.

Poor Olivia! I knew she was switched when Bell woke up. It seemed an obvious plot point. But I was afraid Our Olivia might be killed outright on the other side. I wonder how long it will be before Other Olivia trips up.

And Leonard Nimoy has left the building. That was the last acting he intends to do. Bye, Leonard. This new Spock is a poseur.
