Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Hi, Misguided!

I totally meant to say that too, then I got distracted by the plot and the crack.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Smallville is still on the air?

Strega - May 19, 2010 10:08:13 am PDT #13012 of 30001

Smallville to end next season.

!

I'm glad they have plenty of warning, so they can make a detailed plan for resolving all of the intricately plotted mysteries.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hi Misguided! I like your theory about the crack. I'm wondering if now, in the reality with the daleks in London, Amy never existed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Strega, are you being sarcastic? It made me laugh.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm glad they have plenty of warning, so they can make a detailed plan for resolving all of the intricately plotted mysteries.

Think they'll explain how people from an Eastern Seaboard city are always popping over to visit a barn in Kansas like it's one subway stop away?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Strega, are you being sarcastic? It made me laugh.

We should run her statement through that new computer program.

Art Crawl!!!

A friend sent me an email from Rockne O'Bannon's twitter page:

Great conf call with B Henson yesterday, and we're meeting next week. Can't say a word about it. New and exciting. Oops, I said something.

Webisodes? Something else?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going to take a bold step and post a snippet of the CW's season synopsis for S2 of VD:

And they’ll take their shirts off. Frequently.

Good to see the show understands this component of their appeal.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

We've been watching Legend of the Seeker on Netflix. We just started Season 2. I dunno if I can take Charisma Carpenter in this role.
