Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Compassionately intolerant

Legend of the Seeker had just started getting good, to my way of thinking. Next week's episode features Craig Parker coming back to corporeal form. He's been my one reason for watching.

Ah well.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Am I the only person watching V?

FBI Mom is the worst "Not BAD MOM" in the history of television.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Am I the only person watching V?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I haven't gotten around to watching last week's, and I'm not making time for this week's at the moment, so we may be through. I haven't officially pulled the switch, though.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I tried to watch V but it didn't keep me interested.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I haven't watched last night's yet.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I haven't watched last night's either, but I'm fairly invested in Morris Chestnut's storyline at this point. However, that and Morena are the only things really doing much for me. The stuff about the son is just a big load of blah on everything; he's worse than John Connor was on SCC before he started coming into his own.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'm still watching. I just spent my time last night on RuPaul's Drag Race extras and Glee.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am meh on 11 right now. I loved both 9 and 10 from the get go. I think that the problem for me is that 11 is too close to 10 in temperment. There was a clear difference in the personalities of 9 and 10, so it was easy to move on. 11 is right now looking like a pale imitation of 10.

Re: Fringe (my tivo didn't get it for some reason last week) I would love for the Walternate to be The Secretary (and it would make sense, given that memfault!Nimoy's character is "good" in the other universe). I liked that they did the closeup of the injection so that we knew that he wasn't a shapeshifter without them telling us. So, was the bridge thing a decoy, or did it work without them realizing it?

brillig

I think the bridge worked and they didn't get it shut off before Guy On The Bridge got to the far end.
