A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yes, but in Blink
in the basement after the Tardis dematerialised it would also have been dark, at least once the lightbulb blew, but I assumed that the Angels would stay frozen because they were all facing each other.
(Nobody tell me that they wouldn't or I may never sleep again)
.
In retrospect, Fiona, I think you are right. Huh. Must rewatch.
Fiona, the issue in Blink of what would happen
once the lightbulb blew, is something that was mentioned here at the time. I assumed that they would be free to move, but I think it's an open question.
Why exactly
was there current to a basement light in a residence that had been sitting abandoned for who knows how long, anyway
?
I just watched The Beast Below. I really thought I wouldn't like 11 as much as 10 or 9. I highly doubted the stories would be as engaging in this new season. I'm here to say that I was wrong.
Yes, I think I remember the discussions around Blink.
OK, I will try to keep an open mind about
massed Weeping Angels moving in the dark
.
I'm feeling like a curmudgeon, but 11 has yet to really grow on me. And this is considering I was all open-minded about it and quite willing to accept him, which I have, but still... hasn't quite grown on me the way I'd hoped. Of course, I'm only on ep 2, but I'm feeling a little befuddled, considering how many of my friends (as well as my husband) thought he was just fab by ten minutes into the ep.
Ah well... I'm sure it'll happen eventually.
I'm with you, Barb. I was just telling a co-worker about my enjoyment of Amy Pond, but my lingering meh-ness towards 11 at this point (I've only seen the two BBCA eps, as well). I don't hate him, yet, so there's still a chance I'll love him to bits. Of course, it took me until "School Reunion" to fall for 10.
Heh, that's adorable, Frank. I'm the opposite - I dig Eleven, but Amy still needs to grow on me. I think I just miss Donna and their relationship so much. Oh, well.
