Somebody on another thread is calling them iDaleks, which about sums it up.
That was a bit disappointing, though Bill Patterson and Ian MacNiece were great. I get the feeling that there hasn't really been time for Matt Smith to stretch into the role since the first episode, which is a shame .

Ace was Sylvester McCoy's Doctor's assistant (I can never keep track of numbers). She was a superb companion. I need to get hold of the episodes from that time that I didn't see. Much fun - quirky Doctor. Matt Smith is reminding me of him at times.
Doctor Who, episode 3: I have no interest in Daleks at all since Who went New, but I quite enjoyed this one. Eleven's reaction to being placed in a fatal quandary was great. We knew he'd choose not to let the Earth be destroyed, because he loves human beings, but his distress over having let the Daleks go was very convincing. I agree that he needs more episodes that let him explore the character a bit more. I'm hoping those are coming up. But there was some great stuff in that episode, including Daleks making tea, spitfires in space, and Winston Churchill! Nice.

Oh, and I also quite enjoyed The Prisoner. Although the main effect it had on me was to make me want to go back and watch more of the originals. Ian McKellen was good.

I liked 11 well enough. I'm wondering whether his newness is part of what was happening last night. Clearly the first episode takes place hard on the heels of his transformation or whatever you call it.
SGU - I liked this episode. It reminded me a bit of Star Trek. Possibly because they actually visited a new planet and explored it. I don't really understand why they didn't give everyone some time on that planet. It would have been healthier for all of them.
Flash Forward: Why is Noh so important? I mean, is it just that what's his name saw himself in the future having killed/captured/tortured him and felt that he HAD to go through with it? Or is there something else going on?

Hmm, that's an interesting way to sum him up, but I think that may be why I liked him. Not that I like that in real life, just in my Doctors. I think it also may be in a big part because he was still finishing his transformation that he was acting quite that nutty.
