It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That was a disappointingly small amount of Marsters.

Yeah.

I loved the geeky robotics guy and Zoe going on a date in V-world. Because it ain't right.

But who am I kidding - I'd totally go on a V-world date with a Cylon - I mean, if no one knew yet the Cylons would launch a war and a later genocide against the human race.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This was my first ep since the premiere, so I wasn't sure--how much does geeky guy (nasty demon-worshipper from SPN) know?

About Cylon!Zoe? Nothing, afaik. Dunno if he knows the chip was stolen (perhaps I just missed this).

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

He knows zip. But he has a thing for the Cylon. They've had cute bonding stuff for a while now. Oddly, he pegged the Cylon as being female from the get-go, as did Daniel. (Who doesn't know Zoe's sort-of in there.)

The show's got a lot going on, but it's not one you can go in-and-out of. It builds very slowly, but it's been worthwhile. Surprisingly so, as I was a little lukewarm on it at the beginning.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Me too, Victor.

Remind me never to cross a Tauron.

Trust my rage

My Caprica love has crept up on me. I haven't seen last night's ep yet. I like that Zoe and Tamara finding their ways in such different worlds. I don't like Second Life but I find the V world interesting as the edges between reality and code blur.

I also can't help but enjoy Sam Adama's hotness. I shouldn't like the willing murderer and enforcer who has no issues with his work, but I do. And not just because he's hot.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

How many episodes of Caprica have there been so far?

5, I think, but the pilot was 2 hours.

5 or 6 maybe? (iTunes says 7 but they divided the 2 hour pilot in two.)

Actually, now that I'm at my computer, I can expand on my Sam Adama thoughts. While I do think he's hot, I'm sort of intrigued by a character who I initially wrote off as a Tony Soprano type, except that unlike Tony Soprano, he seems genuinely good to his nephew and partner. I'm not sure I think he's doing the best thing with Willie, but *he* seems to think he's teaching his nephew the ways of their people. And his mom seems to agree. Sam is living by a code that, while involves killing people, he seems to believe in. I think that was why I ultimately quit watching the Sopranos was because Tony was so inconsistent (which, I suppose is why he needed a therapist). Here's it's Joseph Adama that's torn between what he sees as right vs. his culture.

I also like the dichotomy of Tamara vs. Zoe. I like Daniel Graystone, but I find Aoe to be a supremely annoying and entitled teenager. I guess I identify as a parent because I think he (so far) decision not to reveal herself to her father to be extremely cruel. Zoe is out in the real world and able to move around, even though she is limited to the body of the robot. Tamara, who seemed more vulnerable at first, seems to be doing better, although she's stuck in Second Life.

I find Sister Clarice and Lacey to be totally boring.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Me too. I started out giving it the benefit of the doubt, but now I'm hooked.

I'm not sure I think he's doing the best thing with Willie, but *he* seems to think he's teaching his nephew the ways of their people.

At the very least, he's paying attention to him, which Joseph is not.

Last night's ep wasn't quite up to the level of There Is Another Sky, but I like that we're finally starting to see some of the STO threads coming into focus. Sister Clarice hasn't done a whole lot so far, but the prospect of an Atia/Spike showdown makes my inner fangirl go "YAY!"
