'Heart Of Gold'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

brillig

There needs to be more respect for production values in cheesy movies. Stupid movies provide a valuable service for insomniacs and those with twisted senses of humor. Besides, a well-done cheesy movie can achieve great things.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was such a disappointment.

That's because obviously it wasn't meant to be an antagonistic story. Theirs is a tale of love, thus, Sharktopus. What? That link isn't about how the creator was deeply moved by the sorrowful tale of star-crossed lovers adrift in a cruel sea?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hopefully Roger Corman's involvement should up the ante for drinkability. Did anyone catch DinoCroc?

Smallville has been renewed.

Is Clark, like, fifty now?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Is Clark even still on the show?

Joking. Mostly.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I approve of them renewing the show that replaced Smallville (having the same name) this season.

That was a disappointingly small amount of Marsters. I wasn't paying full attention, but I can only assume he'll be back.

Unlike Pyper Ferguson, of whom there was a lot, and who will certainly be back. The show doesn't grab me, but I do like the casting.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That was a disappointingly small amount of Marsters.

Yeah.

I loved the geeky robotics guy and Zoe going on a date in V-world. Because it ain't right.

But who am I kidding - I'd totally go on a V-world date with a Cylon - I mean, if no one knew yet the Cylons would launch a war and a later genocide against the human race.

This was my first ep since the premiere, so I wasn't sure--how much does geeky guy (nasty demon-worshipper from SPN) know?
