Damn you, Bridget! Damn you to Hades! You broke my heart in a million pieces! You made me love you, and then you-- I SHAVED MY BEARD FOR YOU, DEVIL WOMAN!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How many episodes are in this season? 8? Because there's no way they can finish up properly in just one more. Except for George, maybe. Mitchell has a lot of explaining to do.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

One more, yeah. I definitely agree.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm okay with Annie, because she had her realisation that telling her mother to move on was hypocritical if she was just hanging out in the episode with the broken psychic. I mean, she's just here because she likes George and Mitchell, pretty much, which is fairly petty.

But Mitchell? DUDE. That startled the fuck out of me.

There is a third season, right?

Compassionately intolerant

I take your point ita, about Annie following through on her 'letting go' revelation, but I just couldn't imagine her throwing in with a character she could so easily have seen through (no pun) last season. And to stand there while he shouted about 'demons', just didn't seem like something she would do.

I felt terrible for George, but yeah, Debetesse is spot on about his history with life choices.

The left turn with Mitchell was so shocking because this shift is so, completely counter to everything he has said and done in our entire knowing of him. Which is interesting, granted, but it makes it difficult to follow him anymore. The coroner, I get. But the train? No. That was just too much for me.

By the way, when the conductor boarded the train to help the passengers, two things happened for me. First I thought, he's so cute! I love this guy. Then, a second later, I thought, oh wait, he's so cute because what we are about to see is so horrible, we need him to up the shock value. Then I felt used. It was too obvious.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am not sure I thought it was a left turn with Mitchell especially since he has been on the edge of reigning in his nature the whole time. I'm not particularly invested with any of the characters, except to say that I think they are too stupid to live (or be ghosts). If I lived as a demon more than 12 months, I think I would get that there are people out to get me and live very cautiously because of that. The caution seems to be have been tossed out the window in the last couple of episodes.

Huh, I didn't realize he was in Caprica. Watched the pilot and nothing after.
