This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At least Being Human is relatively untested. But Doctor Who has legions of insane fans. Amongst whom I clearly number myself.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We've been watching them all in order this month, something I have been waiting to do since I got them for my birthday in August. I could never get the DH to watch them until now--he thought they were going to be twee. Last night was the Ghosts two-parter which was the end of the first Tennant season, and when it was over there was silence. I looked over at him and there were tears in his eyes and he said "Rose and the Doctor never get to see each other again?"

One toaster for me.

"The series goes a lot of interesting places. You gotta watch because I am revealing nothing."

You're nicer than I am. I have a smile-and-blink and "You know I never tell you shit, right?" response.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

BWAH! Did he call you evil to your face, or could you just see it in his eyes?

Oh, they could do a Faction Paradox spin-off! It would even be somewhat appropriate for the American version to be about a rebellious bunch of time-traveling cultists.

Actually, if this is a thing that ever happens, I'll probably pretend that is the premise. But mostly I think that "might try" is a long way from "will."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Who exactly would watch a US reboot of Dr. Who? The British version has been around for almost a half century... I'd think anyone interested in the basic premise would be aware of the still-in-production original and choose to watch that instead.

Trust my rage

I think Matt is on to something. Who would watch American Who anyway? Even American Torchwood sounds wrong...

brillig

In an American Torchwood, Jack wouldn't get to flirt with absolutely everyone.
