I don't get the BSG finale hate--I rather liked it! I just handwave all the glaring WTF decisions at the end because it gets us to Hera being Eve, which is about the only thing that justifies all the "she is the savior of the human/Cylon species!" stuff that existed since season 1.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
However, could someone confirm for me one way or the other - there was a scene where Donna basically told the Doctor off that he was too dangerous to be around at the end of the episode (at least partly based on his fate for the Empress and her children). And didn't he ask her along (which I remember leading to the chewing out)?
yep, they cut out that whole exchange, which is BANANAS, considering how emotionally important it is.
Anybody going to watch Demons on BBC America this weekend? Looks like a straight Buffy clone, with American Rupert Galvin (Philip Glenister) mentoring a Van Helsing descendant who has to keep the supernatural in check in London.
The IO9 reviewer liked it, but the commenters didn't.
Philip Glenister? ORLY????
t fans self with anticipation
American accent.
Hmmph.
Yeah, but no m atter what accent he's still very, you know, yum.
He looked unyum in the trailer. It's an atrocious attempt at an accent.
So, is there one more Who or two more Who? I am confused.
That episode was quite the thrill ride. I wonder just how much (if any) of the damage to the timeline was done by the Doctor going rogue there for a while.
Two. Part one which aired Christmas, part two airs tomorrow.
That is a LOT to wrap up in an hour.
