A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Is it over on BBCA?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Well, like Donna, he keeps crossing paths with the Doctor.

Yes, we're getting the behind-the-scenes program now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did we know before today that he was more special than, say, Micky?

I think the Doctor feels very protective about the human race. Add that and to how he feels about having had to mind-block Donna and I can see how he's starting to get a bit overwhelmed.

Also, I did not get a preview when I ahemmed, do they show anyone else surviving the Master-ization?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I found this from November in a Dr Who wiki:

It should be noted that the name Wilfred Mott is an Anagram for the phrase "WTF Time Lords" or "Time Lords WTF".

I wonder if that was intentional?

hwæt

That was weird. There was a whole lot of plot, yet not much happened.

do they show anyone else surviving the Master-ization?

They didn't show anything in the previews. But as pure speculation, I wouldn't be surprised if Captain Jack were immune.

All is well that ends in pizza.

FYI:

I found the preview and trailer that have been broadcast on BBC.

With the bonus of being available for viewing, since the UK site is off limits to non-UK peoples.

The preview may be spoilery, as I don't know if it's been shown on BBCA

Scola, is he even on the planet?

Compassionately intolerant

Whoa. Neither one of the previews Daniel linked to where on the copy I got. These were much more interesting.

OMG. I just had a thought.

So, if the 10th is supposed to die for good... with all this dundunDUN foreshadowing, what if 11 springs from Wilf?

Hmm. Wouldn't that be twisty.

Donna and her ma weren't affected by the Masterification because they share his Gallifrey dna .

Yeah, probably totally overshot that one, but it's fun to think about. And would fit right in with the bringing of the pain since it would mean Wilf no more .
