Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Jack Harkness's middle name is "really strong subtext."
I think his given name was "The Subtext is so Strong it has Gone Dom", which is why when he took Jack Harkness's identity, he kinda kept it. Easier to say, you know?
probably Ten/Rose/Jack.
When was there the possibility of that combo? Did I miss a later episode? Did you mean Nine/Rose/Jack? Mickey sure suspected something.

If she was getting it from those two, I don't think she would have wanted one for the road from Mickey. Not that he would necessarily think about that.
Christmas Dalek
Love it!

Love it even more!

I kind of figured by the episode in Cardiff, with the alien mayor and so on, they were looking pretty sexually threesome-ish/relationshippy. All that finishing each others' sentences and lack of personal space.
The hug Nine and Jack gave each other when they realized Rose wasn't dead seemed indicative of more than "Our good mate isn't dead, yay!"

That was my take on it as well... I assumed they skipped right over platonic friendship shortly after Jack came onboard at the end of "The Doctor Dances."
I never really felt on a gut level that Rose and Ten were sexually involved in the same way, because all their little giggle fests read as pre-adolescently immature to me. Though I suppose that's just a combo of the actor chemistry and the more mature feel of the Doctor's feelings toward Madame de Pompadour in "The Girl in the Fireplace."

Yeah, Jack's not so much with the platonic if he sees a chance. "So many species, so little time."

Also spoilery for character reappearance in the last two specials. I don't *think* it's been broadcast in promos, but could be wrong.
