Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Interactive guide to the Doctor's regenerations:

Also spoilery for character reappearance in the last two specials. I don't *think* it's been broadcast in promos, but could be wrong.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One of the character reappearances mentioned on the page wasn't in the promos I saw, no.

Hopefully he gets caught in a rainstorm early on in the regeneration. Then again, Ten has had some horrific hair. His charisma powered past it.

Thrive to spite them

I'd have to rewatch to figure out if Rose and the Doctor were getting it on during the series.

The kiss between Rose and the HumanDoctor seemed like a first kiss. What I remember watching I never felt like they were having sex. I feel like the HumanDoctor was done (well besides saving the universe reasons) so Rose and he could be together because otherwise the Doctor would have just left Rose there. Even if she crossed realities to find him.

I think I'm biased. I like Rose overall but I don't like the whole in love with the Doctor possessive attitude concerning other Companions. The whole "I was there first" thing was just annoying because she wasn't.

Indeed, so I'm quite optimistic. I remember a lot of negative hair comments when the first pictures of Ten were released. So maybe it's a tradition already.

The whole "I was there first" thing was just annoying because she wasn't.

They did address this a bit in School Reunion. But I think the attitude stems in part from the fact that, to all intents and purposes, for a lot of viewers - the younger ones - she is the first companion, and the writing is just trying to reflect that.

Fringe is going to air an unaired episode from season 1, which means we get to see Charlie again, before everything went sour.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, for people who missed the Waters of Mars - I'm guessing that it's available On Demand prior to Saturday. I mean - if you have a cable company that puts BBCA stuff up On Demand.
