Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Seed?

I guess I just find hunks hunkier as they age. I thought he was super hot in the Sanctuary episode. This from a woman who currently has a Daniel Jackson photo as her desktop.

Yumtastic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think Shanks is looking good. He's not as pretty as Daniel Jackson, and I might tidy his hair up a bit, but I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers in 2009.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I need to see this non-Daniel-Jackson "gone-to-seed" Shanks. Anyone got a screengrab?

His first scene.

His best shot was the still they projected of him. Very rrowr.

They're showing Highlander on SyFy. I'm grabbing eps now, but I'm not sure if it's worth getting into much before Methos shows up.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm not at all up to date on Sanctuary, but liked the Shanks visit. Amused by the love the hair comment.

Fringe is the only show I am up to date on. Glorious addiction. It is likely I will rewatch Fringe episodes before I catch up on other series. Walter, oh Walter. What a jewel of a character and actor.

Somehow I knew ita would be the one with the scene at hand! I think he looks good. I'm into the scruffy look.

Did anyone else see the belly pouch and think "Jafaa!"?

Kree! That is to say, every time. I'm sad they had to CGI his abs, because it looks like he's been keeping up his gym time.

My interest in Highlander just peaked some--All we are is dust in the wind--Tessa bought it. Still, a long way from Methos. But we have some Xavier St. Cloud to pass the time, and other worldly delights. This was one of my first fannish TV involvements.

mmhmm. Very. I kept rewinding to that point.

I didn't have this thought but it brings up something that has confused me. Surely, because I just missed a critical moment my mad consumption of SG-1.

I never understood "snakes in the head" when the symbiont lived in the belly. Was it different for Jaffa vs. Tok'ra, etc.?

The Stargate wiki doesn't seem to have the answer.
