'Never Leave Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

I know!

Of course, I already have "The Peacekeeper Wars".

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My Farscape DVDs arrived! The entire shebang in a compact little package! Except... err, it does not seem to have "The Peacekeeper Wars", which is NOT RIGHT. Harrrumph.

Yeah, that was annoying. I bought it separately for like eight bucks.

The package is SUPER compact, though. I was impressed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

One of the reasons I never got into watching Farscape (and it's too bad, I think I would've loved it if I'd gotten in from the beginning) was that I saw a couple episodes in rerun, and then I saw the last episode, and they DIED. I couldn't go back after that.

Not that having the main character(s) die is necessarily a bad way to end a story, but it was depressing.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that the Peacekeeper Wars were actually produced by people other than the people who made the series. Something like that which is probably why they aren't packaged with the series.

I was impressed with how compact the packaging is too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I saw the last episode, and they DIED.

That's not actually how it ends, you know.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I know, but it was before the Peacekeeper Wars had come out, so as far as I knew, it was.

I keep trying to watch the series through; it's good, I just can't stay focused on it.

You know, being transformed into skittles isn't really dying.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

This guy doesn't want to take any chances, though.

I avoided the series for a long time - the puppet thing seemed off-putting, I didn't need another space epic to love beyond reason, etc - but I am so glad I gave it a chance. I just finished watching the whole thing for the first time and OMG MY SHOW. This might just be my One True Show. And the puppets made me cry. Repeatedly.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Isn't it amazing how they could do that? OMG ILU PILOT.
