'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

QI.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Not Paul Gross. CKR!

Well, given the whole regeneration idea, we can have both!

Or maybe one can be the Companion.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

QI.

Ah, thank you!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So I just watched "Fall Out." I now know which bones are connected to which, I'll tell you that.

I think Twin Peaks still wins for WTF-iest finale, though.

Although the CBC is a co-producer as well - a Canadian Doctor, perhaps?

CBC stopped co-producing after the third series, and stopped broadcasting the show after the fourth series. It airs on Space in Canada now.

Compassionately intolerant

QI is the bomb diggety.

I just mainlined the F series. Gold! I'm just sad that Bill Bailey seems to have forsaken them as he has Nevermind the Buzzcocks.

My thoughts on The Prisoner.

So what's the verdict on the remake? Worth my time?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I vote meh. I have a great love for Ian McKellan, but wasn't compelled by any of the other characters.

Ian McKellan seems to be the main draw. From the trailer, Jim Caviezel is no Patrick McGoohan, not by a long shot. He seems completely blah.

No, he's still doing QI - he's in the second episode. Some of these comedians pop up in one panel show after another, on TV and radio. David Mitchell is another one who seems ubiquitous (which I don't mind either).
