Ian McKellan seems to be the main draw. From the trailer, Jim Caviezel is no Patrick McGoohan, not by a long shot. He seems completely blah.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'm just sad that Bill Bailey seems to have forsaken them as he has Nevermind the Buzzcocks.
No, he's still doing QI - he's in the second episode. Some of these comedians pop up in one panel show after another, on TV and radio. David Mitchell is another one who seems ubiquitous (which I don't mind either).
He seems completely blah.
yes. this.
Ha, "Hammer into Anvil" was pretty great. I love when Number Six fucks with Number Two instead of the other way around.
Note that the actor playing number 2 also played one of the people 6 contacted at his former agency in Many Happy Returns.
Note on the idea of CKR as a Canadian Dr Who -- he is actually English-born, his family emigrated when he was 2 or so. He could even make a reasonable bid for a regular Doctor slot, though regrettably he's well past the target age they seem to be going for now, alas.
I don't know if we have enough data points to project a future target age.
Three points make a line! Or a plane. Or a really cool line. Let's extrapolate.
Where would fandom be without extrapolation? I'm just not that good at reading into things ahead of time.
At the rate they're going, they'll have a 12yo next.
More like 20. At least, there is seven years between Tennant's age at assuming the mantle and Smith's now.
