Well, look at you. All dressed up in big sister's clothes.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

He says that it's some aliens answer to the 1970s NASA message to outer space from Earth.

SO much more pleasant about it than V-Ger.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Fair enough, Fay -- I don't know much about Cardiff. (My Welsh ancestors came from Anglesey, but I don't know much about that area either.) But it isn't so much the guns blazing stuff. A lot of what law enforcement does is necessariliy secret, even from SOs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did anyone watch New Amsterdam yesterday? I think I'm still in a bit of shock.

Completely forgot it was on, dammit. Can you say why, since it's been broadcast.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

ita, in shock over what a wretched hour of TV that was? The writing, the acting, that silly love scene at the end?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I watched it. I think they thought they were being very progressive, while managing to be very, very clunky and stupid. I was not impressed.

All three L&Os have done shows about honor killings of women by their families.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I liked that they tried to show his change in attitude, how he got progressive. I was worried that I might get hit by the falling anvils, though. And the whole honor killing thing was just random and stupid. but, I suppose that they did it to contrast with the honor of killing the "gentleman"
