Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The first episode of The Prisoner I ever saw was "Living in Harmony." (The Western)

To say I was confused is an understatement.

ETCorrect title.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I haven't seen tonight's eps, but so far I'm really digging the break-him-with-Stockholm-Syndrome methods that this Number Two is using. As much as I loved the break-him-by-interrogation-and-random-druggings of the original, I'm glad they're not trying to recreate that. (Though I am pretty sure everyone in The Village is being drugged all the time - there's probably something in the wraps.)

[Also, The Village still reminds me of Roosevelt Island. Or rather, Roosevelt Island still reminds me of The Village. It's creepy.]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't believe TV Guide managed to make Morena look even more creepy beautiful. That's some lighting. And, uh, PhotoShop, I'm sure.

I had only seen a bit of the new Prisoner when I commented. Overall, I'm enjoying it. I'm also (unspoiledly) speculating that between drugs and mind control (and maybe VR) the entire village is on one floor of the company #6 works for.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm still watching (going to bed soon, I swear) tonight, but I loved the explanation of who Number 1 was.

I'd been thinking the same thing.

And maybe the mysteriously opening pits are because Superboy Prime keeps punching holes in reality.
