My completism is dictated by how and when I can get hold of less-favored seasons on deep discount.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I wouldn't need to but the entire thing, but I would need to watch in order.
New special this Sunday!!
As a friend of mine said, "If there's no David, let them eat Tennant": happy Waters of Mars day!
(Though, sadly, by the time I'll be able to go and ahem it I'll have to go to bed. So I guess I'll only watch it tomorrow. God, Monday is gonna be such a hell until I'll have the time to watch it, and one of my classes will include surprise oral exams on a 60 page article before it. I guess that no pain, no Doctor concept reflects to my real life now. WTF. You're a fictional character. You can't hurt me. You have no power over me... right?).
FF - Is Mark really so dumb that it didn't occur to him that there might be more than one guy out there with the same arm tat? REALLY???
Exactly!!! If it were c.s.i. they would consult their tat databases.
Is the new Doctor Who airing here or in the UK (or both)?
Survey: Are you a completist, who wants to own every season of a show, even if you didn't like some of them, or do you only buy the seasons you liked?
It really and truly depends on the show. I tend towards complete-ism (to the point of wanting every movie by a director I like, every album of an artist I like, etc.), but, for example, I happily own season 1 of Heroes, but will never bother to buy another. I have the CE season of Doctor Who, but, though I love Ten and Captain Jack, will probably never buy any of those seasons. I'm not entirely sure why in the latter case, but probably mostly due to the impossibility of ever being a Doctor Who completist since some of the early episodes no longer exist.
Also, I'm starting (HA!) to overload on DVDs, so I'm trying to cut back my buying for sheer issues of space and "Am I ever going to get around to this again if I've already seen it?"
It's airing in the UK - we get it mid-December.

Unless we can find that device Water invented on Fringe...
Walter could just set up an agreement with an alternate universe....
BTW, according to the IFC documentary, the reason that the complete set of early Monty Python episodes was saved was that Terry Jones bought the tapes and took them home with him rather than let them get recycled!

Right? I think we were *supposed* to take that as how obsessed Mark is with doing anything to change his future -- that he would kill tattoo guy without considering that there might be more than one tattoo guy.
Makes me wonder why the FBI hired him, because it couldn't have been for the critical thinking skills.
