A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

FF - Is Mark really so dumb that it didn't occur to him that there might be more than one guy out there with the same arm tat? REALLY???

Right? I think we were *supposed* to take that as how obsessed Mark is with doing anything to change his future -- that he would kill tattoo guy without considering that there might be more than one tattoo guy.

Makes me wonder why the FBI hired him, because it couldn't have been for the critical thinking skills.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The kindest I kind be about Mark is to think is that he flashes severely impaired everyone's process of thought, but it was really not bright. I think his sanity needs it to be true, though.

Did Olivia throw away the lingerie because she was wearing it in her ff? How rude of her to have been doing so in the first place.

Compassionately intolerant

I was a completest for Buffy, Angel, Firefly/Serenity, but am satisfied with only 4 seasons of Highlander. So, I guess that means I'm not actually a completest, then, eh?

I'd be happy to receive SG1 and SGA as gifts, but I don't think I'd pony up for them.

I still need to get the fourth season of Jonathan Creek, but will definitely do that someday.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am a completist. Having incomplete sets makes me twitchy.

That was what I assumed.

How rude of her to have been doing so in the first place.

Right?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I had to own all seven seasons of Buffy and all five of Angel, but they were an exception. Otherwise, despite my generally obsessive nature, I am oddly non-completist. I own half of Dead Like Me, all-but-one boxset of Babylon 5, the first season of Northern Exposure, bits of new Doctor Who, one season of House, etc. (I think our dirty little aheming habit is mostly to blame there. I'd have wanted to own more boxsets if I didn't have such easy to access to TV.)

Edited to change the last word to 'TV', for clarity. Admitting on a public forum that you have easy access to 'it' may be considered somewhat forward.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm not really a completist, though I was obsessive about having a recording of every Buffy and Angel back in the day. The fact that I have spotty assortments of Farscape and Due South episodes and no Season 2 DVDs of Pushing Daisies as yet demonstrates that even loving ashowwon't necessarily motivate me to collect all of it.

Zenkitty - Nov 15, 2009 10:32:19 am PST #10841 of 30001
Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Matt, I obsessively recorded every episode of Buffy and Angel on two VCRs, just in case I needed a backup. Even after I owned every season on DVD, even knowing tapes degrade, it took me months to be able to get rid of those tapes.

The survey question occurred to me because it really doesn't make sense to waste money and space on a tv season that I didn't like and will never watch, but like P.-C., not having all of something makes me twitchy.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

The internet makes me less twitchy about those things. If I ever need something I don't have, I can probably get it.
