'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Killing off a major, likeable, cast member like this is a good move so early on.

Also, and this is selfish entirely of me: CKR!!!!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, I hope we get more CKR.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Also, did anyone else get the impression in the scene between Demetri and Zoe, when she's saying she knew it was their wedding day and she knew he was there, that the reason she might have been on the beach in Hawaii, on their wedding day, wearing her gown, and so certain he was there, was because she had his ashes and was getting ready to scatter them? We never physically see him or what she's carrying in her hands. The other explanation of course is that she's marrying someone else, but that seems too easy.

Yes. I was thinking it was something like this the first time she mentioned her vision. Although, I would love it if some of the visions were just false.

Or, the visions are from likely, but competing, futures.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oooooooooh. I like.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Okay, re: V and the "planning the kerfucking of the human race so they could swoop in all Dr. Salk and Mother Theresa in one cloned-flesh covered package"...I buy it.

But, in my vision, the "fuck it up" 5th column crew get to Earth, begin scheming their nefarious schemes, and then turn on Fox news.

"Easiest set-up ever, boys. We can drink beer and fuck hookers til the Mamaship gets here. High four!"

(Cause lizards have four fingers in my mind.)

FlashForward: Finally, someone did something the Inner Bastard In Me thought of right from go. Though, in my version, it was randomly selecting a Mosaic "My FF was so awesome OMG! i wuz w/football captain & it was so WHEE! LOL LOL LOL!" poster and shooting them in the face. "Let's see what happens now."

I really wish the writing on V were stronger. I do so like this cast.

I just keep reminding myself that The 4400 kind of sucked at the beginning too, until it didn't.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Sigh. I miss The 4400.
