I know that it's hardly authoritative, but it seems from Criminal Minds that you don't have to be able to carry to be an agent. From sources that aren't actually another TV show (but are the internet) as a tech expert in the employ of the bureau she may not even be an agent. But I'm sure she is, for TV shorthand reasons. No disrespect to tech experts, but I hope she has all the credentials in the world.
'Sleeper'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
all the freaky shit that happens around Olivia, Astrid needs to have certification and training in all the major martial arts and several traditional weapons.
I'm still enjoying SGU, but the constant base on the soundtrack gives me a headache. I get it, we're on a ship, engine noise blah blah blah. But don't you think the Ancients might have found a way to muffle that so they could hear themselves talk?
(I also find myself wondering what the episode titles will be down the line if they continue on the "thing we're running out of this week" theme. So far we've had Air, Light, and Water, but I can't help but worry that S2 is going to premiere with "Lemon-Soaked Paper Napkins.")
If that's true, then they will be in suspended animation for long periods, only to be woken up to be served drinks and assured that the flight will continue when civilization rebuilds.
I will totally start watching the show again when the thrilling two-parter "Lemon-Soaked Paper Napkins" airs.
I am still getting chills every time I see Morena Baccarin blink in beat with Muse.
Did anyone watch the original V that bennett mentioned upthread? I missed it, but am very curious about how the remake comes off in comparison.
OMG, yes!!! I loved that show. My brother and I were seriously hooked. I still remember when Diana unhooked her jaw to eat the rat. At the time, I covered my eyes, but I remember my brother yelling out "GROSS!" (I saw it years later, and am glad I covered my eyes because I would have been totally creeped out)
I only vaguely remember the original. I wish I'd caught this weekend.
