I think I've managed to keep a Sci Fi show on my schedule just about every week pretty consistently. But I'm not aware of anything scripted (I can't quite call Ghost Hunters and its ilk reality) that's going to plug the post-Sanctuary hole. And I'm not even liking Sanctuary as much this season. Kate bugs, and I'm mad they killed off Dr. Watson. What did Wingfield ever do to them? He'd make a marvellous recurring character.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Do they really think they can do it better?
The one questions glaringly missing from the vast majority of remake pitch meetings, alas.
What did Wingfield ever do to them? He'd make a marvellous recurring character.
Completely agreed. I was hoping they'd use the 'source blood' to bring him back. It would have been both a good idea casting-wise and a nice homage to the deplorable end of the Highlander universe (we can only hope) that Wingfield was regrettably attached to. He deserves better.
Glamcookie, I love that. I think I would title that "movie" the Ad-Hoc Plan .
I don't understand this whole "let's remake things that are less than a year old" tendency.
If this were a 20 year old program, I might be able to get behind it, but just show it on SyFy, why don't you?
but just show it on SyFy, why don't you?
You'd think that'd be cheaper, wouldn't it?
I don't think it's as long-term a revenue stream for them, plus they'd have to wrest rights from BBC America. To whom they just gave up first-run rights of Doctor Who. So I don't know if they're up for it.
le nubian: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Exactly. Also, I thought that none of the Cylons knew who the final five were. Why did they start right off with Stockwell knowing? Am I high?
Well, and my husband was watching The Plan last night, and admittedly, I was not a dedicated BSG watcher, but wasn't Boomer a sleeper agent? I thought that was where the pathos of her entire first-season storyline came from, her not knowing what she was doing and why.
Oh dear, I haven't watched yet, and now I don't want to.
Yeah, Dana! There's that, too! Plan my ass...
