A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It has been long enough that I am ready for X-Files rewatch. I never watched the last seasons. That should probably stay the case.
Cold be worse, the pilots could be playing on their laptops and miss a whole city...
I told the boys that the straying pilots were playing WoW and they totally believed me.
I didn't seen any of the last season, but Season 8 had some gems. "Redrum" with Joe Morton was an excellent episode. I bailed on the show soon after that episode.
I never watched the X Files. By the time I got hip, they were in the middle of the "gross season" as my friend called it. I saw two eps and said "no thanks", despite many attempts to convince me otherwise. I did see a couple of eps randomly (like the one with the crazy suburban monster from the HomeOwner's Association)
My favorite episodes were often the fun ones: "Jose Chung", "Post-Modern Prometheus", "Bad Blood", "X-Cops", "Arcadia".
"Jose Chung", "Bad Blood" and "Small Potatoes" were my three favorite flat-out funny episodes.
"Last Repose of Clyde Bruckman" is probabaly my favorite of all time, though.
And I always had a soft spot for the tattoo episode because they got Jodie Frigging Foster to do the voice of an evil tattoo.
It is easy to forget what a great show it was with those terrible later seasons. We did a complete rewatch of the series not too long ago. About the only redeeming quality of the later seasons was admiring Scully. Holy grail of TV women right there.
One more week until V! I'm so excited! Morena looks breathtaking in the commercials!
Oh, I've got to set the Tivo for V!
Comcast couldn't find it when I searched, weirdly enough. It only picked up the re-airing of the original miniseries. I had to go directly to the listings to set the recording.
