Matt,
I see what you mean, but he was with her for several months. It just seemed kind of like "oh well, my woman is gone."
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Matt,
I see what you mean, but he was with her for several months. It just seemed kind of like "oh well, my woman is gone."
I thought most of that time span involved her being overseas - wasn't she shipping out for London in last season's finale, not that long after they'd taken up together?
I assume that if the WH is burning, there was another blackout.
No--it's that I don't understand how it got burnt during the blackout. I'd have thought it'd be one place nothing would crash into, since nothing would be flying over it. Errant Marine One?
Sanctuary is filling the Doctor Who shaped hole in my life that Sarah Jane just can't.
While I like the characters, for the most part, where Ashley is concerned, I agree with the comments upthread. She didn't really appeal to me until the very end.
I've got a little bit extra confused sauce over why they seem to have forgotten the best parts of Henry and the Big Guy's relationship that was so poignantly played out at the end of last season. I don't particularly look for slash but I thought that was nicely handled.
I'm definitely glad to see Tesla back. Love that character.
Did NOT love the bug guy in the latest episode. That kind of bad CGI comic relief was a bit too 'Willow' for my tastes.
ita, how did the VP die?
Sanctuary is filling the Doctor Who shaped hole in my life that Sarah Jane just can't.
Really? But I am a whole season behind on SJA. But I did love the first season more than I've ever liked Sanctuary. I feel an emotional disconnect with all the characters, even when I can intellectually appreciate what they're going through. Maybe if AT's forehead moved when she cried...
Why are you whitefonting? Was it that disturbing?
how did the VP die?
Now that you mention it, I don't know if we know. ::googles madly:: In the crash of Air Force 2. Which wouldn't be related.
Maybe if AT's forehead moved when she cried...
There is THAT.
I dunno, I watched the first 4 episodes of SJA and just couldn't connect with the kiddiness of it...despite appearances by the Sontarans and the Jadoon. It struck me that the cinematography is so different, the alien characters look much more plastic than they ever did on DW. Maybe too much light.
Why are you whitefonting? Was it that disturbing?
Har. Well, it was pretty cringe worthy.
I tend to overdue the whitefont, I suppose. I just hate making slap-inducing mistakes. Didn't know if everyone had seen the ep yet.
ita,
where did Air Force 2 crash? Was it near the WH?
I dunno, I watched the first 5 episodes of SJA and just couldn't connect with the kiddiness of it.
I was actually impressed with the sense of jeopardy I found imbued in it, knowing the target age range, and that everyone would be okay in the end. Especially towards the end of the first season.
Sanctuary is okay, but of the series I watch on Sci Fi it's my least favourite, and Kate's really not helping.
Didn't know if everyone had seen the ep yet.
If it's aired in the US, no whitefont.
where did Air Force 2 crash? Was it near the WH?
The WH doesn't have a runway, does it? I thought it was just the Marine lines of helicopters that ran there.
