Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

Jon, my thoughts exactly!

Did the people Noh and Benford investigating at the beginning of the series have something to do with Chinese gangs?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The FBI is federal. Also, CSIs don't carry guns and SVU is supposed to investigate sex crimes.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

FF: the 'yellowcake' turned out to be a kind of marijuana.

I found SGU watchable again this week. Carlyle really manages to take the drama up a notch and drag the rest along with him.

“Not dead yet!”

I loved the look on Noh's face during the gunfight.

THUD

It was seriously hardcore.

And I'm definitely curious as to what particular favor President Coyote called in after the Chief's visit.

Also with ita on wishing they hadn't shown us that Coyote was president in the previews. The drama in the reveal would have been so much better.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I assumed he made Senator Bitchy the VP in exchange for her approving the funding for Mosaic. Do we think there was more to it than that?

ION, I kind of hate the use of music in this show. They haven't broken out the "Hallelujah" yet, but it's only a matter of time.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It's not un-possible he was responsible for the Chinese gangsters.

Yeah, I was between the Chinese gangsters and the mistress being sent to PR. From what little we've seen, he doesn't strike me as a particularly fair sort of guy. He's very much into defending his own self-interests by whatever means necessary. When he was telling Stanforrd that not only was he willing to get down in the mud, but that he reveled in it, I sort of read an admiring tone into his words.

But I also think, going along those lines, that he doesn't necessarily trust that Stanford will destroy the negatives as promised. After all, one time use or not, it's incredibly powerful political currency.
