I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Couples annoy each other more as they grow old together.
I'd like to see the survey questions when they come out. Because I believe it, but I suspect that you could say "Couples ___ each other more as they grow old together" and it'd be generally true, whether it's "annoy" or "appreciate" or "adore" or "bicker with."

I certainly get more annoyed by friends that I've known longer. But I also enjoy their company more. They aren't mutually exclusive feelings.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Hmmm.....some things are more annoying, or more accurately -get an annoyed response more quickly. But the annoying things matter less, even if I react faster.

for example. DH has very strong opinion about X. I agree - how ever , in general, my response is more moderate ( no I actually don't believe some one should get a body part cut off for doing action A, however that is because I believe violence is not an good idea, not because action A is a good idea). This causes DH to rant, which will not change my mind, but will annoy me. I react faster, but I don't really dwell on it like I did when we were first together.

Our wings are not tired.

Has Matt been around? What a horrible storm last night!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Wait, isn't he back in Arkansas now, or am I mistaking the direction of his recent move?

He's in Arkansas, and they got it too. Big old nasty storm. Heard 30+ dead on NPR.

Our wings are not tired.

Yikes, just looked at CNN and they say at least 45. How awful and scary.

They were showing baseball sized hail in Memphis, which I think is close to Matt.

::worries about Matt::

Kat, you've probably figured out the credit report thing by now, but: [link]

I really need to get my own work done today, and I have a class to teach on Friday for which I need to prepare, so I hope the professors leave me alone.

I thought the US stopped making you revoke other citizenships, even if they don't acknowledge dual citizenship.

Indeed, I think Tom is going to get US citizenship at some point in the future, when we have $700 extra.

DH is planning on getting Irish citizenship at some point, and I'm pretty sure there's no problem with having that and his American citizenship.
