Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

I don't disagree! But I like something covering my shoulders even if it isn't heavy ( my birch sheets are very light, is pretty close to silk in terms of insulation, weight and thickness) and the topsheet accomplishes that. When it is really chilly, I wear a shirt to cover my shoulders so I don't wake up with cold-aches.

The one hiding in the sofa cushions was a horrible shock. I still have shuddery flashbacks about it. The one in the stove, I knew about and didn't mind so much. The one in the linen closet, I thought was an ordinary dust bunny until, well, it clearly was actually alive and not liking my attempts to vacuum it up.

How often do you have to wash your duvet cover?

eta: Congratulations, tiggy!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

seriously this benefit crap is going to be the death of me. I have done all the math and to my calculations - taking out stuff pre-tax for FSA, plus the min (I know, don't lecture) retirement contribution, and transit - I will be bringing home $300 less than I have been per paycheck - If that 300 is less than what I plan to spend on those reimbursable expenses per paycheck, then I am coming out ahead - correct?

Don't ask me. I've got a long neck and big eyes full of grit. And a bulbous feathery tail.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I thought was an ordinary dust bunny until, well, it clearly was actually alive and not liking my attempts to vacuum it up.
Java, the dust bunny is allllllllllive! And, um, kinda a lizard.

I was thinking of these. They've sweet faces. For a reptile.

Yes.

If your plan is flexible, you can deduct up to $115/month for transit as well. That will reduce your basis, for tax purposes, by $1380.

snatched away the spoon I hesitantly offered her and tucked in. Left-handed. I would have cried, except Hec would have never stopped rolling his eyes, ever.

...er, crying because she's left-handed? Or because you didn't think of it? Or cause "OMG SHE FED HERSELF!"? So confused...

Oh, well, yeah. It's near Baltimore, but it's Reisterstown.

Shame you can't eliminate students based on their parents, too...

omplain about their child's lack of internet, just so I could make up the reason it wasn't working." Oh yes, we have special filters that shut down access if you are looking at [ some random odd or disturbing porn or fetish ]

That would be AWESOME.

Hmm. Mailing gross things is illegal. Noted

Why? I suppose it was considered threatening? I mean, he didn't leave the cow's head in his BED or anything...Yeesh. What kind of freedoms are we LEFT with in this society?? Can we still send dead roses? Or black ones?

We were taught to fold them and put them under the pillow, so that's what I do when I'm behaving, but I did it once as a guest at a relative's house and someone slept in my bed a night I was away and freaked out.

Clearly it's the other person in your bed that's freaky. If I am using the same nightclothes, I probably put them under the pillow, or right below the pillow under the bedcovers. But I rarely make the bed, and am often dashing out the door in the morning, so ti's more often "in a heap in the middle of an unmade bed". Um, and my parents have no European influence, I don't think.

Congratulations, tiggy!!
