We were taught to fold them and put them under the pillow, so that's what I do when I'm behaving, but I did it once as a guest at a relative's house and someone slept in my bed a night I was away and freaked out.

Clearly it's the other person in your bed that's freaky. If I am using the same nightclothes, I probably put them under the pillow, or right below the pillow under the bedcovers. But I rarely make the bed, and am often dashing out the door in the morning, so ti's more often "in a heap in the middle of an unmade bed". Um, and my parents have no European influence, I don't think.

Yeah, I don't know what the skink in the closet was eating. Dust I guess. The cat was bringing in skinks regularly for awhile and it got away to a hiding place in the back of the closet.

I'm tempted to take him outside and let him "run" but am afraid I'd lose him. The site above says to tape bike flags or balloons onto them when you take them out so you don't lose them. yea, I am worried about my take home being less than it was before because of the additional pre-tax withdrawls, so reducing my take home more is not something I think I can do. But I think as long as I am getting back in reimbursements close the the difference in the take home each month, then I should be ok for monthly expenses. Sure, ideally I would like to take out the max pre-tax that I can towards retirement, but I couldn't pay the rest of my bills then.
