but then there's nothing to protect your feet from something creeping up off the floor and into your bed! Yes, I'm still traumatized by the things my brother said to me when I was THREE that would happen at night. Well, and, see: critters in the house. I had a skink in my stove for 2 months last summer. Plus one under the sofa and one in the linen closet. It's the freaking Wild Kingdom around my house!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
You had a skink?!?!? Prehensile tailed? Those things are adorable. Like wee baby cartoon dinosaurs...
eta: I am perhaps trivializing your skink trauma. This is not my intention. The only ones I have seen were pets and therefore not free-range.
I don't disagree! But I like something covering my shoulders even if it isn't heavy ( my birch sheets are very light, is pretty close to silk in terms of insulation, weight and thickness) and the topsheet accomplishes that. When it is really chilly, I wear a shirt to cover my shoulders so I don't wake up with cold-aches.
you people were prolific today(is that the word you were looking for, ita?)! i should have known it was rampant FCM, but i totally didn't have time to read Natter today until now.
it appears that i'm a homeowner... pending an inspection and appraisal, of course. cue my freakout.
The one hiding in the sofa cushions was a horrible shock. I still have shuddery flashbacks about it. The one in the stove, I knew about and didn't mind so much. The one in the linen closet, I thought was an ordinary dust bunny until, well, it clearly was actually alive and not liking my attempts to vacuum it up.
How often do you have to wash your duvet cover?
eta: Congratulations, tiggy!!
tiggy , congrats!
Now peel off the borders. t amateur stylist
seriously this benefit crap is going to be the death of me. I have done all the math and to my calculations - taking out stuff pre-tax for FSA, plus the min (I know, don't lecture) retirement contribution, and transit - I will be bringing home $300 less than I have been per paycheck - If that 300 is less than what I plan to spend on those reimbursable expenses per paycheck, then I am coming out ahead - correct?
Don't ask me. I've got a long neck and big eyes full of grit. And a bulbous feathery tail.
I thought was an ordinary dust bunny until, well, it clearly was actually alive and not liking my attempts to vacuum it up.Java, the dust bunny is allllllllllive! And, um, kinda a lizard.
I was thinking of these. They've sweet faces. For a reptile.
oh, don't worry! those borders are going to be the first thing to go!
