Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hang in there, -t-!
The party we were at tonight (a very early party, since there were two kids on the guest list and we were at a bar that was all ages until 9:00) featured pi(e) for dessert in honor of the day.
Spike's Bitches 40: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
Spike's Bitches 40: thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
Spike's Bitches 40:The gods themselves do tremble
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle up, kids! Daddy's puttin' the hammer down.
...
I like "Buckle up, kids! Daddy's puttin' the hammer down."
Me too.
We went out for dinner for a friend's birthday. We discussed plans for the Big pi day celebration on 3/14/15
We don't have it, nor will it be a concept that ever crosses the pond, because of course in my world it's 14.03.08
I'm told some places celebrate July 22nd, because it's Pi approximation day...22/7...
sighs
I have no pi(e).
However, I am a good girl, and have just been to the gym. I think I'm finally going to start the Couch-2-5k program, and was having an experimental crack at it today. Seems like it could be A Good Thing, and not A Hellish Thing. Which is a pleasant surprise.
The Couch-2-5k things sounds pretty interesting. I've been wanting to try running some more. Once it gets a bit warmer out.
Heh. See, it would be impossible for me to run any less than I presently do! But...this does seem to be a very user-friendly plan to get a person into running, and I've talked to another lass over on my WeightLoss forum who started the program when she weighed a bit more than me - and now, a year later, in addition to having lost a shitload of weight she is LOVING the running, and big into the whole exercise thing. Which is rather encouraging.
We'll see. I need to try hard to make time for the gym, and not let stupid things prevent me from getting my ass down there.
Anyway, yes - once I actually CAN run, I've got Lumpini Park just round the corner, which is a lovely place to go running. (Or to do outdoor aerobics, Tai Chi, use the open air gym etc etc)
(In my case I really can't blame the weather for my failure to go out running! But I'm starting to work on it.)
