Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

apparently my playing iPhone music is just loud enough my office mate can hear it, but not loud enough he can hear lyrics... so he's just barking the lyrics out at random. I read into this that the music is annoying, so I ask "should I turn it off" He says no, he likes the tunes. So I ask for him to stop barking out the lyrics... especially WRONG lyrics... or lyrics 1/2 verse behind. He doesn't stop. So I stop music. Then he starts singing on his own. Would it be wrong to drop an anvil on him? O ya, and the fantasy basketball is another reason. Always on the phone with it. I trade him for him. Yadda yadda yadda. I tell ya, leave that fantasy stuff in the bedroom, ok! Jeez. (didn't know he was gay. Being married and all. It's all good).

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

ND, I changed my mind. I'm just wrapping up my school work now, so I might as well stick around for the second talk (which I admit I'm excited to hear). I will call you when I'm leaving.

Kristin, I fully admit to being more than a little jealous of you today. Hearing Kushner talk has to have been an amazing experience. I'm so glad you got to have this experience! (even if it did mean giving up some precious time away from ND)

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Holy crap, one of my co-workers died this weekend. I didn't know him very well, but I knew him. Holy crap. I'm so confused.

Yeah. "It's always sudden."

Went to the funeral of a co-worker today, someone who worked in the cube-across-the-aisle from me all last fall. She moved to a different shift in November, so we've only seen each other in passing since then, long enough to say "Hi" and "Bye" and not much more.

Common cold to bronchitis to pneumonia to ICU with ventilator to staph infection to dead in 14 days.

Disconcerting.

I am at the laundromat. All 4 of the 5-load washers are running with about one load in each. There is more soap than clothes!! All I can think is, what a waste of water, not to mention them clothes gonna cause some major itch if all that soap doesn't rinse out.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, God, dcp, that's awful. That poor woman.

And {{P-C}}.

Kitty~ma to GC's Josie.

Must go now. Hec is slounged on the couch and Matilda is cheerful, chatty and mellow; can't squander this opportunity for family time that doesn't involve heavy-duty baby wrangling/wrassling.
