I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We just got in from a lovely dinner for TCG's stepbrother's birthday.

Does this fall under your establishment-closure clause?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ha! I've gotten this sort of itchy green spot on my ears and wrist before from jewelry. Just didn't think I'd have to worry about it from jeans.

so flour is ok then?

Egg substitutes, (having never used before) are they like "this equals one egg" and it works fine for baking same way?

Soy Milk baking, I thought the milk was for fat content in baking. Does the soy skew that somehow?

Love learning new things!

Yikes GG, hope you get laptop back on its feet soon. I feel your hard drive pain.

Don't think so. I mean, soy milk still has fat. In most vegan recipes, the soy milk is there to replace the egg. (You add a bit of apple cider vinegar to the soy milk, and it thickens it. Kind of neat, actually.)

why am I watching a horror flick at 2am? WHY? I'm not a fan of them per se. Yet I have to find out how it ends. Watching "What Lies Beneath".

ETA the music in this flick reminds me of Vertigo, or one of the Hitchcock flicks.

add'lETA: several times in the "Production Notes" the name Hitchcock was dropped. I'm guessing the music was a bit of homage.

Our wings are not tired.

Skimming catch up...

Eeep, such stress over the letters for G_G and Kristin. Some ~ma headed out for positive results.

Yay for the return of the laptop, Susan. And Yay for the car trauma being minor, Hec.

The girl scouts have been around, but I have resisted. If they show up at the door resistance will be futile.

A big YAY and sigh of relief for the neils.

Car~ma for TCG.

Dog~ma for Toto.

TJs meal - artichoke raviolis with artichoke spread

Mmmmm artichoke. Want a TJs.

o_a, I believe that flour that is sealed well lasts quite a long time. Most everything I bake has eggs and/or milk. With kids these things are always in the fridge anyway.

Laptop ~ma for G_G. I hate when I have to share my computer!

sj, I would wear a favorite outfit for the pictures. That way decades later you can look at the picture and think how you really liked that outfit, as well as the fella.

Pixie Hil! Hee. Maybe you can put an iron on patch over the button.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Thanks for the ~ma, Laura. I know I need it!

ION...computer is still down. Tried just about everything short of tossing it out of a window. Looks like it has earned a trip to the store. Hoping it isn't serious and I won't lose too much info. I think just about everything has been backed up.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Harumph. I seem to be getting spots all over my body. I first noticed a few days ago that I had a few on my left hand- on the back of the hand under the index finger. I first assumed it was a winter-dry hand irritation, sine I get those every year about this time. Then another showed up on my right middle finger, under the knuckle. Then others popped up just below my right thumbnail bed, on the tip of my right ring finger, and on the side of my right pinky. Yesterday I noticed I had FIVE on the inside /back of my left upper arm and this morning I noticed another couple on the corresponding right arm, and I think there's one on my lower belly.

Sometimes they itch, but mostly not. They have redness around them which seems to calm temporarily when I use Burt's Bee's zinc oxide stuff.

WHAT THE CRAP IS GOING ON?!?!?!?

(sorry for excessive detail, but I have a feeling I'll be referring to this post when I call my doctor tomorrow.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Have you had chicken pox before, Nora? Could also be hives, I guess.
