Not just a faithful Muslim isn't supposed to convert - it's any Muslim, defined as one born to a Muslim father. Yes, similar to Judaism saying you're Jewish if your mother is. So the issue may not be does Obama think he's a Muslim, but does Osama think Obama's an apostate?

But we've already contracted for $2K to have it mitigated and signed the damned offer forms so I don't think they can legally withdraw their offer. Fuck. DH had to get stern with the human resources department.

The good news, though, is that DH had a meeting with his boss today and got a raise--after only working there for three months! His boss said that he "was a strong candidate but he's exceeded every expectation" and they wanted to show that. He got 2.5% on his already very attractive salary.
