Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My new theory is that I was snatched as an infant from Seattle and my secret twin, Plei, and placed with some scary but sweet Midwesterners.

Are you trying to say Ple is sane? Because I'm not buying a ticket on that Swan Boat.

Not to say Ple is crazy. She's more of a supra-sane type. She's off our chart of measurable standards.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My new theory is that I was snatched as an infant from Seattle and my secret twin, Plei, and placed with some scary but sweet Midwesterners.

Your real name is Andromeda.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy Birthday Laura!!!!! And gf of GC!

Hil, a friend of mine was found to be Vitamin D deficient a few years ago, even after taking supplements for it for months. Super weird. I hope yours is not as weird as that, certainly.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Laura!

Hil, I'm glad they are getting to the bottom of what's wrong with you. Nothing like a doctor who takes you seriously enough to bother looking for answers, is there?

Aimee, I'm sure you will be a brilliant teacher.

vw, that's a great quilt.

Cash, I'm sorry about the Jerry Springer baby-mama drama.

I really think drunk drivers should get some kind of credit for turning themselves in, even if inadvertently. Apparently they've got good instincts.

IOmememeN, I want to learn how to do silk ribbon embroidery so I can make stuff like this: [link]

I just saw that book at the shop this week. It's got some gorgeous stuff!

I have stuff to do a silk ribbon embroidery project, but I'm afraid of it.

The status is NOT quo.

Like I could name it... I didn't name her, silly JZ.
She named herself.
Not only am I now never going to visit Nicole, but I think I may never go to Colorado. Ever.

It looks easy. Easier than cross stitch, at any rate. Or perhaps, the stitches may not be easier, but it looks like one would make faster progress, and so it would be more satisfying.

If you're close to Belinda? Tough call.
