Hey, Andi, weren't you just recently promoted to the position you're in now? You rock like an amazing rocking one, although I knew that already. And much ~ma.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Aimee, one of my dear friends was adopted. Once she was an adult, she decided to research her birth mother. She discovered that her mother died young, but that she had a half brother, so she contacted him and they actually got along very well. Which is all just to say, don't give up if you don't want to. You'll find a way.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Libkitty, this is what I had been talking about over in my LJ a couple weeks ago. So it isn't a new promotion.

Our wings are not tired.

Promotion ~ma for ya WindSparrow.

Trust my rage

I have a purring baby on my lap. He sounds just like a kitten to me, although higher pitched.

Andi, sending promo~ma your way!

Aimee, I hope you get to meet your sister! I think the idea of contacting your dad is a good one but I would be worried he would do something to taint the experience.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I have no advice, but good luck, Aimee!

Also, I woke up convinced it was Wednesday and thus didn't wash my hair. I'm going to be Greasy McOil by the end of the day today, and have totally thrown off my hair-washing schedule. Also, I have tiny ants. LOTS of them. I'm very unhappy, and the cat is very unnerved by my moving her food. She's found it okay, but she keeps going back to where it used to be and meowing. While sitting essentially on a pile of ants. I don't think she can see them, so she doesn't know what's going on.

Aimee, I hate to be a downer, but do you have a birth certificate with bio-dad's name on it or something along those lines? Including something like that will only show how measured and deliberative you have been...

Good luck, Andi!

Aimee, I think that your letters are good. No matter the route you choose, this will be upsetting - to your bio-dad, your sister and you. When my DH has wanted to just throw in the towel with his "new" relatives, I've reminded him that maybe he's not destined to have a good relationship with them, but if we ever have kids the next generation might be the one to connect and that might be what this is all about.

Stephanie, it's good to see your pixels and know that Frisco is a happy fella.
