I have no advice, but good luck, Aimee!
Also, I woke up convinced it was Wednesday and thus didn't wash my hair. I'm going to be Greasy McOil by the end of the day today, and have totally thrown off my hair-washing schedule. Also, I have tiny ants. LOTS of them. I'm very unhappy, and the cat is very unnerved by my moving her food. She's found it okay, but she keeps going back to where it used to be and meowing. While sitting essentially on a pile of ants. I don't think she can see them, so she doesn't know what's going on.
Aimee, I hate to be a downer, but do you have a birth certificate with bio-dad's name on it or something along those lines? Including something like that will only show how measured and deliberative you have been...
Good luck, Andi!
Aimee, I think that your letters are good. No matter the route you choose, this will be upsetting - to your bio-dad, your sister and you. When my DH has wanted to just throw in the towel with his "new" relatives, I've reminded him that maybe he's not destined to have a good relationship with them, but if we ever have kids the next generation might be the one to connect and that might be what this is all about.
Stephanie, it's good to see your pixels and know that Frisco is a happy fella.

To prove to Sister I'm her sister?
Unfortunately, yes. If bio-dad is an asshat, he may just tell your Sister that you're a weirdo stalker from his past, and not to believe anything you say. :(

I don't have one, but he's never denied the parentage. He and I have written and met and his family acknowledges that I'm his biological daughter.
promotion-ma, Andi!
I'm sitting in the VW dealership while they work on my car. This lounge is a much nicer work environment than my office - nice chair, nice table, free coffee, free Dunkin Donuts, quiet.
Of course, it may just be the absence of coworkers that's making me happy.
Aimee, I don't have any advice for you, but I'll be sending lots of ~ma your way that things will work out best.
Also lots of job~ma to andi. I'm officially releasing all of the job~ma back into the ether for Buffistas. I talked to my new boss this morning and he wants to see me 8:25 am on Monday! Whee!
Someone commented "I've never seen you look so happy, you glow when you talk about this job." Partly I'm excited to get to ajob with leave time an dbenefits and where I will actually be able to get ahead moneywise (instead of getting a little next egg an dthen losing it to being sick or something) but also on the sheer fact of who quickly i was hired after the interviews started. I feel like Sally Fields at the Oscars.
Dear Boss:
Telling someone over and over that they are wrong, doesn't automatically make you right. Just FYFI.
