Drusilla ,'Conversations with Dead People'

Spike's Bitches 39: Cuppa Tea, Cuppa Tea, Almost Got Shagged, Cuppa Tea...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Fay, in case you don't have your email up and running, insent.

Here's a tidbit from the conversation at dinner with my parents and some family friends this weekend -

Random chatter about the food

Mum leans over and pokes my belly

Mum "That's disgusting Karen, will you ever lose some weight?"

everyone looks at Mum agog

Me "Mum, do you want to shut up now?"

Mum "I'm just saying I've never seen you that fat before. It's disgusting."

Me continues to be agog

DH "Seriously, (Jars' mum), you should probably shut up now"

Everyone returns to eating their dinner, eyes down, presumably to avoid looking at me eviscerating my mother

So anyway, what the hell is wrong with people? And by 'people' I mean my mother.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

open mouth staring across the pond

I'm sorry - my brain shut off at the horror. You were saying that your mom caressed your face and told you how beautiful you are, right?

You were saying that your mom caressed your face and told you how beautiful you are, right?

Yes, yes that sounds far more lovely. Give me a few hours and I'll have myself convinced of that.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

So why is your mother still alive, Jars? At least the rage and astonishment caused by that story woke me up.

Because books.

Jars, I'm glaring in your mother's general direction.

Jilli - a little something I found on eBay: [link]

It just seemed neat to me and thought I'd pass it on to you.

move out and draw fire

Nothing like a supportive parent.

Her favorite song is "Quake Master" by MC Steven Hawking.

LOVE! And feel no qualms about loving it. Also F*ck the Creationists, and All My Shootings Be Drive-By.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Belated Happy Birthday, Laga. You share it with my dad. He's getting a belated happy wish too, since I was in class all day yesterday.
