Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Happy New Year!

I went to one party, then everyone seemed to be leaving about 12:30, so my friend and I went to another friend's party. There were some entertaining guests and my one friend and I didn't leave until after 6 am. Now I'm tired, but still amused.

Happy Birthday, Susan! May your 37th year be the best year so far, and may you finish your WIP or at least make very good headway!

Happy birthday, Susan! Poor Annabelle. Eight hours of ice cream yearning.

Mostly lurking...

x-posted with my LJ...

Conversation I just had with my elderly, nosy neighbor (who I love dearly):

A: So, you have boyfriend now?
Me: What?
A: That boy that came to your house. He's your boyfriend?
Me: Oh. No. That's my brother.
A: Oh. That's too bad. Looks like nice boy. So, you have girlfriend instead? You like girls? That's ok now, you know.
Me: What?
A: That girl that was at your house a lot. She's your girlfriend? She's very pretty. I like her.
Me: Oh. That was my former roommate. She was just visiting for a few days.
A: Oh. Too bad. She's very pretty.

Sometimes I'm just a wee bit disturbed by how none of my actions go unnoticed.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We just had a failed attempt to pick up TCG's car. The place that was fixing it is also a gas station, so they said there would be a gas station attendant there we could pay and would have the keys to the car. We got there and no one was there.

It's snowing quite a bit here, and I'm trying to figure out if I should cancel therapy for tomorrow. I didn't go last week, so I should probably go, but I really hate driving in this stuff.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

But at least your neighbor is cool with your hypothetical sexcapades, regardless of which gender you pick!

(Seriously, that's making me giggle madly -- your elderly neighbor reassuring you that it's okay if you have a girlfriend!)

ION, I have no idea how it's already almost 3:00, but I suspect that sleeping until noon has something to do with it.

Speak it!

I have decided to stay in my pj's all day and watch the Law & Order marathon. We've eaten some Chinese food and are lounging.

Don't wanna go back to the real world tomorrow.

Happy birthday Susan!

Our wings are not tired.

Love it. My mother would say something like that.

We've decided to not go out in the snow, so instead of going to see Juno, we're going to re-watch Serenity.
