not your mom's socks.

tea:

omnis, I hope you are feeling better soon - that sucks. health~ma coming your way!

hooray askye and more job~ma!

re the user-guided priority system, we set up a similar setting with some online request forms, giving people the opportunity to set a date by which they want something done, or by priority... every single person with 2 exceptions has gone with "urgent" and then half of those have turned out to have a date associated with them.

but then, I don't work with the - well. let's just say that half of yesterday was spent explaining why a passworded PDF should not be called a "secure area of the website." Over and over again because my answer was not good enough the first time.

I think they just wanted me to say "oh what a great idea - no problem whatsoever."

"God took mercy on her and let her come live in a Christian home."

So all the babies that didn't get adopted should be named, "Doomed"?

Good on you for the interview, askye!

Get well soon, ~ma, omnis.

Yay, Owen's school days!

Dear omins' belly/GI:

Straighten up and behave! Or we'll do something that will make you upset but not in a way that will affect our omnis.

Right then.

Cheers,

Thrive to spite them

I just remembered about a thank you note for the interviews. I need to do that today and get them in the mail (I'm out of practice with the interviews).

Can someone point me to a good sample of one that I can alter a bit to send to both of the people I spoke with.

Thrive to spite them

So I mentioned a a couple people here at work I had an interview (the employees I spend time with) and someone else just came up and asked when my last day is.

I knew I shouldn't have said anything. Now I feel like I've jinxed myself.

The status is NOT quo.

Gronk. Yep, it's morning again. The kitten has me pinned to the bed and is purring. This is a valid excuse not to go to work, right?

Omnis, I'm not sure if you want company or not, but I could come down to see you today if you'd like.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I had a very similar problem this morning. Even when I turned over to hit snooze, the cat stayed resting against my back, so when I turned back over she was snuggled up to me. Usually she leaves the first time I move (guess it was very cold today). It was extremely hard to get up!

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

So, I think I may have found my new favorite Daddy/Daughter thing to do. Every night from 7 - 8 one of the cartoon channels is running Superman: The Animated Series followed by Batman: The Animated Series. Me and Da Punk jump on the couch and snuggle and watch superheroes.

That was the brightest spot of my day yesterday. Me and my princess watching superheroes.
