I just remembered about a thank you note for the interviews. I need to do that today and get them in the mail (I'm out of practice with the interviews).

So I mentioned a a couple people here at work I had an interview (the employees I spend time with) and someone else just came up and asked when my last day is.

I knew I shouldn't have said anything. Now I feel like I've jinxed myself.

Gronk. Yep, it's morning again. The kitten has me pinned to the bed and is purring. This is a valid excuse not to go to work, right?

Omnis, I'm not sure if you want company or not, but I could come down to see you today if you'd like.

I had a very similar problem this morning. Even when I turned over to hit snooze, the cat stayed resting against my back, so when I turned back over she was snuggled up to me. Usually she leaves the first time I move (guess it was very cold today). It was extremely hard to get up!

So, I think I may have found my new favorite Daddy/Daughter thing to do. Every night from 7 - 8 one of the cartoon channels is running Superman: The Animated Series followed by Batman: The Animated Series. Me and Da Punk jump on the couch and snuggle and watch superheroes.

That was the brightest spot of my day yesterday. Me and my princess watching superheroes.

I’m so glad Owen had fun at school. Yay school!

Emily! I was up at Upstairs!Neighbor’s apartment last night, and her kitty Clark came out to meet me (which she was REALLY surprised about. I must have a really good “animal person” vibe). He looks SO much like Bastet, it was freaky. He even has that adorable little belly wobble. So cute!

Speaking of Upstairs!Neighbor. I was up there for like a half hour. I think we’re going to become good friends. We’re both single, similar age, and don’t have a lot of ways to meet guys. Boston may be the place for singles, but we decided that it’s either singles in their 20’s or people who want to stay single. So, we’re talking about doing some volunteering together, and possibly taking dance lessons. YAY! She’s such a sweetie. I’m so excited.

I just canceled my plans for the day. My asthma doesn't like me much. It may be because I was playing with Clark, but I don't think that's it. Blech.

Hi. I'm the one that's been calling and emailing you about this goddamned tax credit for WEEKS. You have not once called or emailed ME back. You call or email Boss. And tell Boss what's wrong and what needs to be changed. Boss then calls me and asks "WTF? Why can't you talk to Jackhole?" I AM SICK OF IT.

I don't know if you have a problem with me because I have tits and a vertical smile or if you are just an asshole. Either way, get over yourself and start fucking communicate with me. I am prefectly pleasant (when not in the throes of anger) and will listen and follow advice. But the more you don't contact me and force my boss to be the go-between, the angrier I'm gonna get.
