Admit it Trudy, you've been farting around her office haven't you.
Look, sometimes you're standng with your back to someone's desk (for whatever reason) and one lands on her keyboard. And her lunch.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Accidents happen. It's a risk one takes when you make people work when they are sick.

So very much this. I do not understand why people don't get this.

Totally. You'd rather have me there working at about half capacity for a few days while infecting others around me so they can work at half capacity for a few days and pass it on to others...ad nauseum? How is this a reasonable business plan?

Like your three toddlers.
Her life could be hell for a while.

Mine is an evil laugh.
Tra-la-laaaa! My bodyclock seems to be back on track! Huzzah!
...of course, then I made the mistake of spending breakfast listening to an audiofic that was on my computer, which I'd not been able to transfer to the iPod, and then I didn't want to leave the house. But it's 3 hours long, so I knew I would have to. But...yeah, not quite as prompt to work as I have been the past couple of days. Um.
BUT, otoh, I did walk to work, as I did yesterday and the day before. Which is great, because I'm wanting to be more with the healthy lifestyle this year, and last year I'd kind of fallen into a pattern of staying in bed until the last minute and then getting a taxi into work. But walking is so much the better plan, healthwise, moneywise, and in terms of feeling good first thing in the morning. Yes yes yes. Also, I went to the gym last night - only 30 minutes on the walking machine, like, but still - way better than 30 minutes on the couch, yes?
Yes.
...we shall regard the fact that I also polished off a carton of sticky chewy chocolate icecream and ordered takeaway food as evidence that I have not yet really started this whole Get Life Back On Track malarky. Nevertheless, I'm trying to do breakfast and get at least a bit of exercise every day - these are Good Things.
Better to be late because you were being entertained than late because of the gronk.
Trudy, I love the karmic results for your boss!
HA-HA!

Yes!
Also, I have A Plan wrt eating pattern - I've brought in instant miso soup, and intend to have porridge with low fat yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast every day, then have salad from the school salad bar and a bowl of miso soup for lunch, and then eat something sensible for dinner every day - and have a bowl of soup first at dinner time too, to fill me up. And I'm planning to try to minimise wheat, added sugar or fat and processed foods. And try to make sure I walk to work every morning, and get my ass to the gym at least 3 times a week (and ideally most days) even if it's only for a little while.
Any other suggestions?
