Hey Frank! Did you know that Scott (head brewer dude) was fired from Salem BW on Xmas Eve?
Yeah - I heard that from Mike when I came in right after Xmas. It sounds like that's been a long-time...ahem...brewing (whoever was in the wrong of it) from what he said. However, the timing is sucky no matter which way you slice it. Merry fucking Christmas!
we haven't been there since before Xmas, so when I saw that on the Beer Advocate website I was surprised.
I finally DID fall asleep -- of course, waking up proved to be a bitch and a half.
Pretty good. We have got Prospero's Manga with weekday updates, Carla doing freelance/temp work and doing okay with it but her current gig is a bit boring, and I am hammering away at some comic publishing editors for a writing gig and working some stuff for the game business
My hovercraft is full of eels!
My hovercraft is full of eels.
Bwah! X-post as only the Buffistas can do it.
My nipples explode with delight!
Morning, all.
I join, apparently, all of you in coming in to work today via GRONK.
Last night I fell asleep about 8, woke up about 11, then couldn't get back to sleep until past 2. I was chill-y and ache-y and dead sure I was coming down with a wicked cold or flu. This morning I seem okay other than an achy back (and what woman over a "B" cup doesn't wake with lower back pain most mornings?) But it about killed me to get up this morning. And I REALLY don't want to get sick before my trip, 'cause I need to get my desk as clear as possible before taking a week off - and I REALLYREALLY don't want to get sick for my trip.
But enough of mememe. Trudes, how's the plan coming? I'm working on a similar plan, less focused on cabana boys but very Lady of Leisure specific. Maybe if we joined forces we could get funding for the research?
So I'm wondering whether Jilli has yet read this. And, if so, what she thinks.
Fay, Jilli has read it. I'm not sure of her opinion though. I'm sure she'll pop in to tell you at some point but this is her first day back at work today so things may be rather hectic for the poor wee thing.
